My First 24 Hours Consuming Denver, CO

My First 24 Hours Consuming Denver, CO

Flying from Dallas to Denver CO was a rough take off. Fortunately the ride smoothed out and made for a smooth journey.  Once checked in right down the street was Appleloosa Grill. Awesome appetizers and one heck of a Bison Burger (with bacon and avocado of course).

Of course after such consumption requires a little digestive walking. Denver was drenched with rain and it was pretty cold out. It didn't seem to stop downtown from being busy on a Sunday evening.

An interesting place downtown was Green Russel where you venture downstairs (underground) to a brightly lit room and you are then escorted to a dimly lit cocktail joint where you can enjoy everything from the apple pie (made with almond flour) to a tasty  IPA where a jazz band was keeping the mood going.

After a good nights rest a venture downtown the next morning yielded a busier city with a nostalgic feel.

Not a bad 24 hours in Denver after all. Time to rest. Lets see what the rest of the week brings.
