So what happens at a Vietnamese Lunar Festival "TET" ?
I look for events in the area that could yield interesting photos. My wife had noticed a billboard advertising the Lunar Festival at Traders Village in Grand Prairie, TX and she knew I would be interested (I guess advertising works).

I didn't know what a Lunar Festival consisted of and an internet search gave me a little bit of an idea of what to expect from this Vietnamese holiday. What I didn't expect was that the majority of the event would be in Vietnamese. I am not Vietnamese and neither is my wife so this was something very new to us. There was an interesting ceremony to begin with and I wish I knew more background information on the event.
There were several political representatives in the audience and were recognized by the speaker. Awards were handed out and then the performances began.
