Downtown Dallas In February
Walking across the street - sometimes I squeeze the shutter button to see what gets captured.
Interesting day yesterday downtown Dallas. You may have noticed my instagram posts in downtown(if you didn’t then feel free to follow http://www.instagram.com/lunarpastry ) The weather was right and not a bad day for a quick stroll through downtown to enjoy the weather and views. One thing I noticed more were the cool reflections and symmetry that were asking for pics . . . so I took em! I’ve noticed a trend in my images that tend to lean toward the cool side but now I really brining out the warmer tones. Maybe its the winter feels, but its what I like posting when it comes to non portrait photography. My portrait work is still very specific to the subject. One thing very important to me as a photographer and not just a picture taker is that I get to capture an image and take the raw information in that image and process it the way I like. I don’t rely on the fun filters we have built in to our phones but rather I dabble in very specific parts of the images that are important to me. Not many notice, but it’s ok because the image is important to me. Let me know what you think of the overall tone of my shots . . . thanks for visiting.
