State Fair of Texas in 2022
Big Tex was looking sharp as ever this year.
We usually visit the State Fair of Texas at least twice each year. We love the food, exhibits, beer samples, and the animals.
So maybe this time I was infatuated with the roosters. But look at how beautiful they are!
This year Boris was the star! It wasn’t just about the roosters.
We don’t visit the Midway so you won’t see any photos of the Ferris wheel or the beautiful night lights from the Midway in my shots. I do enjoy strolling through and enjoying the occasional show or performance. This time we were able to see the marionettes show.
This year they did have a showing of some prehistoric animals which was really cool to see.
This was our second visit for the year and really was just a casual stroll and snacking. As usual the architecture caught my eye and I had to get a few photos of some of my favorite buildings.
So the State Fair of Texas is not just for riding the rides and eating the fried foods. There is a bit of culture to soak in if you take a moment to let it in. Thanks for reading.
